Terms & Conditions

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A GENDER NEUTRAL WEBSITE because parenting is not gender neutral – we assume that the person asking for maintenance is a female/mother and the person who isn’t paying is the father/dad. If you’re a dad and your child/ren are exclusively or primarily resident with you and you’d like to use the product/s, please feel free to use this resource, but please understand that we use words that are faster and easier than making up gender neutral terms.

This resource provides guidance and documentation to help you prepare for maintenance court and to "get yours". The guidance contained within these products has been expertly developed by a registered South African attorney and is based on years of practical experience working within the maintenance and family court system.

While the information provided reflects professional legal knowledge and experience, these products do not include a legal consultation or legal representation from Blake Attorneys.

Our Products & Services are subject to the following T's & C's

If you’re not happy with these, don’t buy our product.  We will not give you a refund of your fee if you buy our product.

If you do not know the physical address of your child’s father\the person who owes you money, we cannot help you. Please do not buy any of the three products until or unless you have an address. All our solutions require that you have an address for baby daddy.

If you buy PRODUCT 2: the Variation / Increase Package - you must already have a Court order in your favour.

If you buy PRODUCT 1: an application for maintenance - you must NOT have a court order previously.

If the person who owes you the money has no job, no pension and no assets at all, the arrears collection will not be successful or useful. Please do not buy that product.

You accept that you are not entitled to a free legal consultation if you buy one of our products.

You accept, when you buy our product, that:

The court staff sometimes don't do their jobs as they should or as quickly as they promise.

The sheriff doesn't necessarily serve your documents as quickly as he should, or at all. We instruct you in our kits to follow up with him constantly.

Your ex/the baby daddy may remain highly uncooperative and may fail to come to court, even after you serve him with the documents. The difference is, if you can prove you did serve documents on him, you can ask the court for a warrant of arrest for him.
